I paid with paypal and this thing has worked multiple times so far across different android phones. Once it's finished, they tell you you can download everything off the phone by buying the software fifty bucks. It then reboots the machine into the custom ROM and begins spidering the directory, telling the user how many of each media type it's recovered (830 photos, 2000 whatsapp messages, 500 text messages, etc).
Once the phone is on, the program detects the appropriate model (or you put it in) and flashes a custom recovery ROM onto the phone. You plug your phone in you do not need to be rooted, have usb debugging enabled, or even have the passwords it just has to boot up.
